SIMA, more global all the time
Globalisation is one of the Fair’s top priorities. “We want to keep on facilitating contact with qualified international professionals and knowledge of business opportunities outside our own country, particularly where there is already a considerable presence of Spanish companies” stated Alejandro Escudero, manager of International Expansion at SIMA. At SIMA 2011, Brazil, Uruguay’s Punta del Este and the Dominican Republic are just some of the international destinations which have already confirmed they will be attending. European Real Estate Congress – Berlin

IVD will host the European Real Estate Congress of CEI and CEPI in May 2011.
Organised by our German member IVD from 25 to 27 May, the 2011 Eupopean Real Estate Congress is the chance:
- to meet real estate professionals from all over Europe, to discuss real estate business,
- to discuss real estate matters and to make business contacts in the wonderful city of Berlin.

The second CEI Board Meeting will take place in London and will be hosted by NAEA, the english member association of CEI.
Stronger Cooperation between FIABCI and CEI

Manuel Negrao, president of CEI, and Alexander Romanenko, President of FIABCI, have signed on behalf of the associations the two presidents are representing a memorandum of understanding. The signing ceremony has been held during the International Real Estate Congress of FNAIM in Paris.
Cooperation for the benefit of members
"We are convinced that a strong cooperation of international associations is for the best benefit of the real estate professionals in Europe and around the world", said Manuel Negrao after signing the agreement. "It is of major importance for real estate agents and managers to get into contact for business purposes and to have common business rules. In CEI we have the understanding that the multinational associations can set a frame for the cross-border activities of its members."
Together with CEI the two associations of CEPI and FIABCI also signed a memorandum of understanding.
